Things to consider before buying Pariwar Mediclaim Plus
  • National Insurance Company requires the insurer, together with his/her family members to undergo a pre-policy medical checkup. This applies to every person aged forty years and over. If the insurer has selected Plan B, every family member is required to get medically tested, irrespective of their age. For critical illness coverage, each family member in the age group of eighteen to sixty-five years is necessary to get medically examined. The insurance company, however, is liable to reimburse 50% of the cost of pre-policy checkups after the proposal gets accepted and the premium is realized.
  • National Insurance Company holds the right to terminate the policy in case of frauds, misrepresentations or non-cooperation by issuing a thirty-day notice to the insurer. In such a scenario, the company isn’t liable to provide any refund to the policyholder.
